Rating 3, 3 (4,080) · Free · iOS This app is only available on the App Store for iPhone. Until Apple decides to add Journal to the Mac or iPad, you might want to take a look at Day One. It's an incredible diary application that's available on iOS, macOS, iPadOS and through a browser. I have been using it for more than a decade.
On the iPhone, it integrates with suggestions from Apple's diary, which is great. I just sent a request to Apple with my comments asking that Journal be available on other platforms of the Apple operating system and that Journal also have an import function. Personally, I've never established a regular routine for keeping a diary, but I think the multimedia integration of the Journal app could help me. Apple hasn't yet shown much of the Journal application, but I do think it has the power to make daily recording secure in the lives of many people like mine, since it's a native application, with privacy-focused access to location, health data, etc.
With the new journaling suggestions API, third-party journaling applications can also suggest moments that users can write about.
